(10-24-2003) -- We are sad to say that long time promoter of the Superstitions Championship Series has passed away. Otis Fudpucker better known as "Fud" died of a heart attack at his home on Tuesday evening. The Fud Series, New Years race was the first race that Nikal Motorsports ever entered.

Last weekend (Oct. 18th) several of the Nikal team went down to Plaster City to watch the Superstition 250 night race. It is a great series to go race in and also just go to watch. Even though this last race was so close to the Baja 1000, there were still many racers who are entered in the Baja 1000 that raced down there that weekend. And even more just there to watch and visit.

Nikal Motorsports had already planed to race the Fud's New Year race this year, as a thank you race for our crew, sponsors, family and friends. We planed on playing, racing and playing the New Year away. Now it will have an even more special meaning.
